Who are the young democrats and what do they actually do?
Our organization is made up of a diverse group of people.
The people who participate in our group have this in common: they are interested in making a positive difference in our community and in our world. Our group participates in and attends several events each month.
We have a monthly business meeting, where we make announcements, meet local candidates, and talk about ways to further our impact on the community. Some events are geared towards educating voters, volunteering in the community, or raising awareness about important issues.
We also have events that are just about getting together and having fun. Many of our members form friendships and get together informally.
Who can attend events?
Anyone, regardless of age or political affiliation.
Who can become a member?
Registered (or pre-registered if under 18) Democrats and Independents ages 16 to 40.
